Trace Crossings Elementary School

• Trace Singers is our school choir for 5th grade. Students gather in the music room  on Tuesday mornings before school. Trace Singers creates a community of music lovers who believe that they CAN sing for lifelong enjoyment. This group is considered extra music time and Trace Singers still come to music once a week for their regular class. This group performs a concert for parents and friends, carols during the holidays, sings for 5th grade graduation, and participates in additional opportunities that may arise. 
• Honor Choirs are offered each year to 4th and 5th grade students. All 4th and 5th graders will have the opportunity to audition for at least one honor choir, and sometimes more than one. Information is given out in regular music class and includes, but is not limited to, the Alabama Music Educators Elementary Honor Choir, Elementary All-State Festival, and the Young Voices Festival.
• Music Enrichment -  Students in all grade levels are routinely offered the opportunity to enrich their musical experiences by participating in instrument groups that perform at various programs. Interested students should communicate their interest as well as demonstrate the appropriate skills in the music classroom.
