Dear Trace Crossings Families,

It is an absolute honor and a privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal of Trace Crossings Elementary School. I am thrilled to be a part such a supportive community, and I look forward to partnering with you to ensure our students thrive. To share a little bit about myself, I am originally from Tennessee, but I moved to Birmingham to attend Samford University and have proudly called this city home ever since. My career in education has been fueled by a passion for seeing every child succeed. I spent my first two years teaching exceptional education, followed by nine years in 5th grade and one year in 3rd grade. For the past two years, I have returned to my roots in exceptional education. These diverse experiences have reinforced my belief that every child brings a unique and valuable story to our school. I am incredibly excited to be part of the Trace Crossings team and work alongside our talented faculty to make this school the best it can possibly be. As a parent, you are your child’s first teacher and most important advocate, and I am eager to get to know you and your children as we work together to foster a safe, fun, and high-achieving learning environment.
