Trace Crossings Elementary School

Hello! I am so excited to have you as a part of the Trace Crossings family. I am Lindsay Morgan, and I have the privilege of serving as the Assistant Principal at TCES. I have been in education since 2011.  Prior to my time at Trace Crossings, I was a classroom teacher and a reading specialist. Since joining the Trace family in 2019, I have been an instructional support teacher and enjoyed working with staff across all grade levels. In 2022, I was named assistant principal and I remain excited to collaborate with all faculty and staff members to make a greater impact on student achievement. 

I am a graduate of Samford University. I earned my B.S. degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary, and Collaborative Education. In 2015, I received my Master of Arts degree in Reading Education from UAB. Most recently, I completed the Post-Master’s Certification Program in Instructional Leadership from the University of Alabama. 

My husband and I have two amazing boys. We love to be outdoors and can often be found at a ball field. 

Trace Crossings Elementary is a wonderfully diverse school filled with passionate teachers and staff. Our students are creative thinkers, problem solvers, high achievers, and inspire each of us to continue learning each day. At TCES we understand the importance of collaboration to accomplish our school mission of equipping students to meet the challenges of the 21st century. 

I believe in working together as a team to help all of our students succeed. All stakeholders play an important role in student learning and I look forward to working alongside you.
